We'll start the workshop with an Orientation
and a painting demonstration by Armand.
After lunch, students will paint at their easels.
Armand will demo everyday in oils.


This workshop is designed for all levels of students…
including professionals who wish to take their
painting skills to the next stage.
Armand will focus on all aspects of successful painting:
concept, drawing, form, composition, color and harmony.

This is an outdoor workshop.
Students must have all their own painting equipment and supplies
Students must be able to carry their own equipment to the painting locations.
Many locations will be on grass or along trails.
We will paint outside, even if it is cold or hot. Be prepared. Wear layers.
If it rains, we will use the indoor studio at Great Falls Foundation for the Arts.

The class will work with a limited palette
of warm and cool primary colors, plus white.

Students will receive much individual attention,
nurturing their own styles and goals.
An intense, but fun workshop taught by a recognized master of the medium.
