Park in Great Falls, Virginia,
has over 400 acres of forest, meadows, and ponds.
Trails include a 2.5 mile portion of the Potomac Heritage Trail linking
national and regional parkland.
For a very short time in Spring, the bluebells line the river trails
in this very special park.

Harpers Ferry is a historic town
in Jefferson County, West Virginia. It is situated at the confluence
of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers where the U.S. states of Maryland,
Virginia and West Virginia meet. Historically, Harpers Ferry is best
known for John Brown's raid on the Armory in 1859 and its role in the
American Civil War. As of the 2000 census, the town had a population
of 307.
The Appalachian Trail runs through Harpers Ferry
Armand traveled to this remarkable small town this week to paint its
many offerings.
